2018 in Review

As the year comes to a close, I wanted to take a minute to say THANK YOU to all of you who have made Cozy Experience so much fun this past year. This community is what it is because of your involvement and love of books.

46 Facebook Parties

2018 was a record year for me with 46 Facebook Parties / book chat events. We talked new releases, first in a series, and even an Agatha Christie book this past year.

Live from Malice Domestic

I had the opportunity to attend my first cozy mystery conference this past year and did 14 live author interviews from Malice Domestic. It was an amazing experience to attend and meet so many wonderful authors and fellow readers. I’m still working through the pile of books I picked up at the conference last April!

58 Books Read & Reviewed

I read and reviewed 58 books during the year. Books are always a blessing to be (and the best form of stress relief) and I don’t think I read a book I didn’t enjoy this year.

You are amazing! I suggest you check out some family literary blogs for your boys. I recommend some on my earlier blog posts. THISKIDREVIEWSBOOKS is one I love, written by an 18 year old book blogger who started reviewing books when he was 14, at least. He loves books for all ages. Happy New Year to you and yours.

trackback

[…] I read 58 books in 2018. Of those, only four books were not cozy mysteries. Now, I love cozy mysteries for a lot of reasons, but I found that I missed reading books in a variety of genres. I resolve to read more of those from now on. (In addition to my beloved cozies, which will be staying on my reading schedule for this year).  […]
