About the Book

It is December and there is trouble in Copper Bluff and a jazz quartet is coming to town. Can You Start the Series in the Middle?
Yes. You would have no trouble picking this book up and enjoying Emmeline and her adventures. I did read book two in the series, but haven’t read the first yet and I have not felt left behind in any way.

Marie’s Thoughts

This series gets my award for the best series you didn’t know existed. Don’t let Professor Emmeline Prather and her adventures fly under your radar. It is a fun series that is well written and full of enough twists and turns to keep you guessing until the very end. The author does a great job of incorporating a quaint and enjoyable setting into the book that really is a character unto itself. This series is becoming more of a favorite with each book I read.

I’ve never been a reader of mystery novels. However, after reading the first book in this series, I could not wait for the second book to come out. Once it arrived, I read it in 2 days and now I’ve waiting excitedly for another year for book #3. I love Christmas time so am especially thrilled to get my hands on A Very Merry Murder today.
