Marie’s Thoughts

I enjoy the cozy mysteries by this author and have not had the opportunity before now to read one of her suspense novels. I enjoyed how it was edgier than a cozy mystery, but it didn’t cross any lines for me. The book had a lot of action and dealt with some hard hitting issues. It was also written in a smart and sophisticated way that didn’t rely on language or graphic violence. It was a perfect dose of mystery and suspense for me and I look forward to reading more from this series!
