Drawn and Buttered Book Review
Just the Facts
Title: Drawn and Buttered (3rd book in the Lobster Shack Mystery Series)
Author: Shari Randall
Publisher: St. Martin’s Paperbacks
About the Book
When a local fisherman finds an enormous lobster who the town lovingly names Lobzilla, the entire town can’t stay away from the Lazy Mermaid Lobster Shack. The lobster then goes missing and turns up in a very questionable way. Can Allie Larkin and her Aunt Gully figure out what is going on before a killer gets away with murder?
Marie’s Thoughts
I really enjoyed this book! It was funny, entertaining, and unique. The characters are multi-dimensional and you just can’t help but root for Allie and Aunt Gully to succeed in whatever they put their mind to. Many times in cozy mysteries the protagonist is returning home after some part of their life has come to a close. I like that Allie is home because of an injury (she is a ballerina and cannot dance at the moment), but that part of her life is still a part of the book and that she can still pursuit that dream while finding new onesĀ at the Lazy Mermaid Lobster Shack.

I’m so glad you enjoyed D and B! And I really appreciate the spoiler free review – it’s a tough book to review because there are a lot of twists. Thank you!

A great addition to a wonderful series! Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Marie!
I don’t think these books have been released in Australia.
Is the any chance of that happening?
Drawn & Buttered sounds really good & would be sure to find an appreciative audience.
