Juliet Capshaw is faced with not one, but two murders in this book – a cold case from the 1960s and the owner of the most coveted property in town is found dead as well. Are the cases related? Jules and Lance seek to find out before anyone else gets in the way of this cold blooded killer.

culinary cozy, strong female protagonist, multi-generational family, scenic location, Pacific Northwest

Marie’s Thoughts

Another fun book in an entertaining series. The Torte team grows in this book and it was fun to get to know some new characters. The scenic location and Torte antics were the highlight of this book for me. I have really enjoy the author’s recipes that are included with past books, and I look forward to trying a recipe or two from this book as well.
