Can you start the series in the middle?
You can. Each mystery stands alone. The lives of those living in Inspector Witherspoon’s household do progress through each of the books, but if you didn’t know the backstory, you probably wouldn’t know you missed it.

Agatha Christie’s Miss Marple, you’ll enjoy this book.
I love this series. It is simple and fun and provides hours of entertainment. I felt Mrs. Jeffries’ character gained greater layers of depth in this book. I also enjoyed how some of the secondary characters stepped up and played a larger role in the book. Two big thumbs up!
