I like when I learn something new when reading a cozy mystery and I enjoyed how the author gives us a behind the scenes look at the protagonist’s Mediterranean culture. This is the first book in the series I have read and I felt right at home with the characters and setting. It kept me hooked and I can’t wait to read future installments of the series!
