About the Book

Retired professional wrestler, Sam Quinton is trying to live a normal life as the owner of a gym and a private investigator. But when a local small time gambler comes to him panicked because a woman is found dead in the house he was squatting in, Sam agrees to ask a few questions. When the gambler is found dead a couple days later, Sam stays on the case. And it is one that takes him from streets of suburbia to the dens of organized crime. Can Sam get to the bottom of things and live to tell the tale?

Marie’s Thoughts

This fast paced mystery is full of twists and turns that will keep you guessing. Sam is a lovable tough guy and makes a great protagonist. It is believable that he gets himself into the situations that he does. Although he has a tough exterior, he fights for those who can’t fight for themselves. I enjoyed reading, not only the mystery, but also watching how Sam develops as a character. I can’t wait to see where the series goes next!
