Summer Time Changes

Is everyone getting in the mood for summer? I know I have been. And with my three boys ending their school year tomorrow, I know many aspects of my life are about to change.

One of the blessings about working part-time as a virtual author assistant is that it allows me to do work I love and still stay home with my boys. And while I love to think I can always do it all, summer will mean a few changes for me at A Cozy Experience.

Hopefully the changes won’t be that big of a deal and we can still all hang out and chat books together on a regular basis. But I did want to let you know about a couple things.

I won’t be accepting any new stand-alone book review requests for a couple months.

While I wish I could review every fabulous book out there, time just doesn’t allow it. I’ve already got a stack to keep me busy and I know new requests will come in from authors wanting to book a Facebook Book Party. Thus, for the summer months, I won’t be able to take on any new book reviews. I want to leave plenty of time to review the books I already have, review books for Facebook Parties, as well as read for fun. For myself and with my kids.

The Cozy Experience Book Club will still be reading away.

We took May off, but join us starting in June as we read the second book in Karen Rose Smith’s Daisy’s Tea Garden Mystery Series, Murder with Cinnamon Scones.

I may be posting other stuff than just cozy mysteries.

I want to stay in touch, even if my cozy reading decreases in the summer (which it may not, sometimes it’s just too hard to stay away). So I do plan to post about my summer adventures with kids, gardening, and what the boys and I are reading.
