Old Town is in full swing with the annual Pie Festival. Things seem to have an extra level of excitement this year because celebrity chef (and Old Town’s own) Patsy Lee Presley is back in town and judging the festivities. When Patsy Lee is murdered during the festival, Sophie quickly learns there are many secrets buried in Pasty Lee’s past. Can she figure out which one led to her demise before the killer strikes again?

Marie’s Thoughts

This series never fails to leave me with a warm, fuzzy feeling when I turn the book’s final page. Even though Sophie is a work of fiction, I am always impressed with her ability to throw together a dinner to entertain her friends with little notice. The characters feel real and genuine and like people you would want to be friends with in real life. The mystery sucked me in from the beginning and kept me hooked until the end.
