We Wish You a Murderous Christmas – December’s Featured Cozy

December’s Featured Cozy is, We Wish You a Murderous Christmas by Vicki Delany. Our family has always loved the Christmas season, so when we found this book set in a year-round Christmas town, it was too good to resist. 

Merry Wilkinson runs a Christmas specialty shop in Rudolph, New York, a town that has built a reputation on celebrating Christmas all the time. But this December, not everyone is full of holiday cheer. Gord, the persnickety son of Yuletide Inn owner, Jack Olsen has recently come back to town to help his father, who is in poor health. Gord insists on making some drastic changes to the Inn and upsets many of the town’s residents. So when Gord is found dead, there is no shortage of suspects. When one of the suspects happens to be Merry’s father, she has no choice but to step in and find the real killer.

This book really put me in the holiday spirit. It was fun, without being to cheesy or predictable. It kept to the spirit of the season and the town. It was one of those books that you read really slow as you near completion because you just don’t want it to end.
